Julia DiPietro

Julia DiPietro developed a passion for art at an early age and pursued this passion by becoming a student at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Close to earning a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts, Julia is majoring in Visual Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. Originally from Glassboro, New Jersey, Julia is a puppy lover, enjoys taking photographs, and spends most of her time with family and friends. Most of her inspiration comes from the ocean and influenced her final project.

Julia’s thesis project focuses on the threat of overfishing — the depletion of fish stocks before the population can reproduce itself fast enough. The anaglyphic timeline displays when this act started and what will happen if it doesn’t end and improve now. “The End of the Line” aims to protect a global negative impact and the threat to national food security.
