Here is a message from Amee:<\/span><\/p>\n

Undergraduate Annual\u00a0exhibition \u2013 Open Call for Art Work 2012<\/span><\/p>\n

You are invited to submit one work on the theme of “Systems”.<\/span>
(You can find great examples for inspiration in the Zimmerli’s group show “Art=Text=Art” and the work of Ruth Vollmer, who used mathematics and the Fibonnacci series\/sequence to produce her abstract sculpture.)<\/span><\/p>\n

Both BA and BFA students\u00a0are encouraged to submit\u00a0one piece each;\u00a0all\u00a0are accepted.<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition\u00a0will be on view from Monday, October 29th\u00a0\u00a0\u2013 Tuesday, November 13th, 2012.<\/span><\/p>\n

The opening reception is Wednesday, October 31st, from 5-7pm.<\/span><\/p>\n

The show will be curated and installed by the BFA Thesis class (Section 1) and participating\u00a0students should\u00a0bring their artwork to the Visual Arts office from\u00a0Monday, October 15th\u00a0\u2013 Thursday, October 18th\u00a0between\u00a0the hours of 10am-5pm.<\/span><\/p>\n

SUBMITTING IS EASY:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Fill out the two\u00a0attached\u00a0labels completely.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Turn in one copy\u00a0to a Supervising Graduate Student in the Visual Arts Dept. Office (CSB124) and attach the other to the artwork being submitted.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. After label has been submitted to the office, take art work up to the third-floor crit room where it will be stored until the exhibition is installed.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
