Alicia Stolarz
The Meat Project

Alicia Stolarz has been pursuing her passion for the fine arts since an early age and has continued creating artistic work during her time as a student at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Graduating in May 2018 earning Bachelor of Fine Arts, she is majoring in Visual Arts concentrating in Graphic Design with minors in Art History and Entrepreneurship. Originating from Randolph, New Jersey, Alicia enjoys dedicating her time to friends and family, as well as advocating for causes on campus such as prevention of sexual and domestic violence and diminishing animal cruelty.

Alicia’s thesis project confronts the issue of animal cruelty and the inhumane treatment of animals within the meat industry. Although Alicia’s senior thesis project begun development in September 2017, personal research has been conducted for many years due to personal interest.
